Don’t Like - Black Houses

The one trend in home ownership I’m really not a fan of is painting your house black. No one is goth or modern design stylish enough to live in a black house, particularly when said house is a normal house style like a craftsman or ranch home. Black houses have a real way of sucking the life out of a neighborhood. This is particularly true in our current moment when color is being drained from the world. You walk down a street and see nice home after nice home and then *Bam!* a void appears. Why not keep the good vibes rolling? Why not keep the joy high? That doesn’t mean having a white house with a white picket fence like some 1950s suburban fascist. What about a purple home as an option? Or what if you had a charcoal gray home with blue or pink accents around the windows? I’m not a color expert and perhaps that would be ugly, but it’d better than the drag of a black house. Plus, the air conditioning bills in the summer would surely be cheaper, too.
