Don't Like - Over Exaggerated Hypotheticals
Hypotheticals are fun because they’re hypothetical. Thinking through one isn’t legally binding. It’s just a guide for what you would do in a certain situation that is highly unlikely to happen—but who knows! Life is random, but creating a good hypothetical is not. You can’t just throw any kind of insane scenario out there and be like, would you do something not that crazy for more money than you’ll ever need in your entire life? Or likewise, would you do something truly heinous and awful for a McDouble? Those are boring situations because it’s obvious how someone should decide. Like who wouldn’t get punched in the chest by peak boxing Mike Tyson for $100,000,000? You know? We learn nothing in that scenario. That’s what makes these hypotheticals so silly. The whole point of a hypothetical is to learn something and the only thing these scenarios teach us is that not everyone is a good teacher.
