I love to scheme. I love to think about a problem from a few different angles and put out a few different ideas for further consideration, which may, or more likely may not, go anywhere. Not that they have to. Scheming is done for the love of the game. That’s why you can scheme about anything from birthday parties to new business ideas to interior design to whatever it is you’re interested in scheming about. The point is to think creatively more than anything else. It’s about wondering what could be when it seems like everything just is. Scheming is your chance to rub your hands together and gesture ambiently as the ideas unfurl in your mind. That might just sound like thinking but there’s also a certain mischievousness to scheming. There should be a glint in your eye when you’re scheming. If there isn’t, you might be plotting or planning, both of which are a whole lot more serious as they often involve pens and paper. Scheming happens all up top. That’s why schemes come and go, dancing in and out of the wind.
