Like - Spring Bloom

There are two tulips that have bloomed in my backyard. I didn’t know they were there because they were gone when we moved in last summer. Their presence now though is welcome. Quite so. Spring feels like it came from nowhere this year. But yesterday was the first day where I felt like I could’ve just worn a t-shirt in the last however many months. People were out. People were about. I had lunch outside at my backyard table that has collected dirt from fall and winter. It felt good to be back there. The whole day felt good, though. You could feel the shift in the air, which was just magical as it always is. Spring isn’t my favorite season, but it just might have the best days of the year. It reminds you of how exciting everything can be. It reveals itself in the most unexpected of ways, like two tulips you had no idea you had.
