Like - The 12th Generation Cadillac Eldorado Coupe With Vogue Tyres
When I was growing up, the first person I ever took tennis lessons from was a Greek man named Perry. I did this when I was very young. I don’t remember all that much about Perry except that he didn’t like to button his shirts, wore a gold Cuban link bracelet, and drove a 12th-generation Cadillac Eldorado Coupe with Vogue Tyres. That was what stuck with me the most, aside from maybe seeing all that chest hair bursting from underneath his shirt. The 12th generation Cadillac Eldorado Couple is a clean and mean sedan. It has an edge to it but also doesn’t look out of place in a church parking lot. It’s the kind of car that can’t corner worth a damn but that’s ok because when you’re driving this car you’ve got nothing to run from because you’re in charge. It’s boxy in all the best ways while maintaining a surprisingly sleek silhouette. It has big cushiony front seats that would give any La-Z-Boy chair a run for its money. The interior is luxurious in the older, understated sense of the word. That’s to say there isn’t an iPad on the dashboard. But the magic isn’t entirely stock with this car. To fully pull off the look, you need to put Vogue Tyres on it. Vogues come in many variations from white walls to red stripes, but the classic tire for this car has a thin gold stripe on it. It’s an elegant touch. The kind of thing that’s lost on people who don’t bother to look at tires. But for those who do, they’re an unmistakable element of aesthetic sophistication. Is it reasonable to care about a car like this? Not really. But being reasonable has its limits.
