What a gorgeous car. The 1998 Acura Integra is as cool as small, relatively affordable four-door sedans come. Admittedly though, I am biased. Growing up, my mom drove an Integra in champagne gold. It was a manual with leather seats. That was a cool car. I wasn’t always aware of how cool it was, although I knew that it was at one time the most stolen car in the entire United States—and that’s pretty cool. The Integra also had pretty sleek styling and those iconic circular headlights. It’s the kind of car that wants to be driven because it looks good on the road. You won’t find many of them left on the road and the ones you do see have usually been kitted out with aftermarket upgrades features. This has only made the stock ones cooler over time. I know this because my mom still has one1 and when she takes it out she gets approving nods from various valets and car guys around Los Angeles. Occasionally, she’ll even have someone pull up alongside her, roll down their window, and make a cash offer at a red light. She just keeps driving though.
It’s not the original one from my youth because that one was totaled.
This car remains the most fun car I've ever driven. Even better than my 5 speed 2000 Accord - the best car I ever owned.
This was my HS dream car.
