Like - 1000 Likes And Don't Likes

This is the 1000th post of Things I Like And Don’t Like. I don’t know how many words I’ve written and I don’t know how many likes there versus don’t likes.¹ But I do know that I like writing this blog and that I’m glad you’re here with me. 1000 posts feels like a big accomplishment, if only because round numbers feel good and are intrinsically satisfying. Although, I do think that I’ve gotten pretty good at writing a very particular style of paragraph so that’s definitely something, too. To be clear, this isn’t my 1000th post, I suspect that will come in the next month or so. Rather, this is the 1000th post of the blog itself, which also includes 30 guest posts.² Truth be told, my favorite part of writing this blog is when someone reaches out to share something they like or don’t like or when they tell me they’re seeing the world through the lens of likes and don’t likes. It makes me feel a little crazy for thinking this way.
