I think podcasts have their place, and I like them for certain topics, but you make an insightful point.

I suppose nonfiction audiobooks would be similarly problematic in your view?

I think they'd fall into a similar trap because the process of having information wash over you via your ears. But I also think nonfiction audio books probably are more thorough in their analysis and process of creation. This all probably happens on a case by case basis.

As someone who can barely read I’m better at listening to words, but both make me soggy over time.

But, Chloe told me the key to absorption is listening to the audio while reading it.

WE ALL LEARN IN DIFFERENT WAYS, DAVE.
